  • The participants should arrive no later than 11th May 2025 before 14:00 local time.
  • The departure will take place on 20th May in the morning.
  • According to Erasmus+ rules, you have the right to stay for 2 extra days before or after, but the Erasmus+ programme does not provide funds for these extra days. So if you plan to stay in Romania for more days, keep in mind that you will have to pay for accommodation and food during this period.

Project Description

The project “EcoMinds Connect” is a Youth Exchange under the Erasmus+ program, bringing together young people from across Europe to explore sustainability, environmental awareness, and active citizenship. Through non-formal education, participants will engage in interactive learning experiences aimed at fostering personal growth, ecological responsibility, and creative problem-solving.

The project will cover the following topics:

  • Sustainable practices and environmental awareness
  • Personal and professional development through non-formal education
  • Teamwork, leadership, and collaboration in an intercultural setting
  • Creative expression in addressing environmental challenges
  • Exploring innovative community-based ecological initiatives
  • Empowering participants to take action in their local communities

Profile of Participants

The participants will be 5 young people aged 18 to 27, and 1 group leader aged 18+

We are looking for:

  • Young people interested in sustainability, community engagement, and non-formal education.
  • Volunteers, high school students, students
  • Priority will be given to youngsters who are not in employment, education or training (NEET)
  • Open-minded individuals willing to participate in teamwork, cultural exchange, and interactive learning.

The 8-day program will include team-building activities, workshops, intercultural evenings, and creative sessions focusing on sustainability and community-driven action. Participants will not only learn new skills but also have the opportunity to share their experiences and shape their own learning journey in an inspiring and supportive environment.

Accomodation

Participants will be accommodated in a guest house located within a 20-minute walk from the city center of Sinaia, Romania. Rooms will be shared, with 2 to 3 beds per room, and groups will be internationally mixed to encourage cultural exchange. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the stay.

The venue offers Wi-Fi access, allowing participants to stay connected, and a restaurant providing three daily meals, including vegetarian options. During free time, participants will have the opportunity to explore the surrounding nature and the charming mountain town of Sinaia, making the stay both enriching and enjoyable.
